Generally, I'm happy with the build quality, especially the infinity screen. Really is a powerful ultrabook with very small size. There appear to be some bugs with windows 10 and browser freezing, but this happens infrequently and is not a deal breaker for me. Key travel is ok, while backlit keyboard is nice. Battery life will vary, depending on how you are using the ultrabook. Less when playing videos/movies, but descent when doing word processing. In hindsight, the larger 15 inch (with infinity screen) may have been worth the extra cost to purchase. Particularly because it is just over 14 inches wide, but I I cant complain with this being just over 12 inches wide and do appreciate how light this is to carry as a daily user. Overall, happy with the purchase.

Not sure what to think really. Packaging, etc all look legit. I attempted to wipe/re-install OS (I always do that on all OEM hardware) and run into a little issue with SSD. For some reasons SSD decided to not to work in RAID mode (nothing to do with actually being in RAID array) but only in AHCI going forward. During that little misadventure I had to call Dell Support and found that neither my service tag nor express service code exist in Dell warranty database so I was told that Dell will not be able to do any warranty repairs on this XPS 13. I suggest everyone who bought XPS 13 here check with Dell as well and they decide for themselves next course of action. Cheers! I really like the premium feel of this computer. The aluminum is beautiful and the design is great and solid. I like the screen. I didn't put it as a 5 star because I wish the battery lasted a bit longer and I wish it had an HDMI port.

The 2017 Dell XPS 13 is a wonderful laptop. I evaluated this device by how it was built, how it performs, and how easy it is to use. The XPS is a fast smooth and rarely buffers. This is all do to Intel i5 core processor and 8GB of ram. It is built on stables steal she'll with a card on fiber plate to help with weight reduction and durability. Due to its light weight and functionality, it is one of the nicest laptops to use. The Dell XPS is an outstanding piece of machinery and is a real joy to use
