Almost the perfect micro 4/3rds camera for taking photos, but not video.
I purchased this new for $850 which is what is should be priced at. If it included weather sealing then it would be worth the $1000 price tag. It has max'd out the Mega Pixel count for this sensor size and only lacks in high ISO noise. I personally like Olympus moving more of the controls to external dials instead of burying all within a computer interface. I thought the tilting LCD was more convenient than the flip-out rotating one this camera has, however, its nice to be able to flip it facing into the camera to both protect it, and save battery life if you are using the EVF. Battery life is still mediocre, so buy extra batteries. I added a leather half case to improve grip when holding the camera. Everything else I love about this camera, its much easier to carry around than the OMD EM1... which is what Micro 4/3rds is suppose to be.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Retro style but state of the art

Nice step up from p&s camera!
Liked the retro look. Liked its size. Liked the 4/3’s feature. Bought it as an everyday toss in the car w/ short lens. Actually one of 4 cameras I own. I love this camera. Is super stylish, has a lot of personality and the image quality is great. It is the kind of product that maybe not as practical as Panasonic GX-85 or the like, but it fills so special. Comparing a more practical camera to this one is like comparing a Toyota with a Maserati. One is good, practical and of great value, the other is awesome. And when you have a camera that's awesome, you want to use it more and more. In other technical aspects, this camera is very good.
