TV is great, but...
After 12 straight Vizio only TV purchases, my 13nth will not be a Vizio. I have long been a Vizio fan and use them personally and in the course of doing business and actually this TV is of the same quality that I have come to expect. The problem is that this is the first Viziocast set that I have bought. More specifically, it is the remote control situation with these TVs. I, unlike some of the reviews I read, did not have a problem with the set up or initial use of the App. The problem I have is that I make a living every day using my phone. The LAST thing I want to do when I get home is to be anywhere near a phone. I have resolved myself to commit to buy a tablet now which basically dissolves any price advantage a Vizio set offers. So where in the past I would not bother to look anywhere else, I for my next purchase this coming week (65" Ultra high), am shopping around.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good value for a decent TV
This TV is a fantastic value. While it only has Google Chromecast built in, you can cast any other channel that you subscribe to such as Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, et al. It did a software update immediately upon being connected to my WiFi. The Smartphone app is OK (I still prefer a good old fashioned remote), maybe moot if you intend to connect a traditional cable box. The only downside is those little legs seem a bit flimsy and the whole TV feels as light as a magazine when you pick it up (all plastic, no doubt). good tv , bad base legs
