It the BEATLES man!!... In their heyday and LIVE!!
One of the first pop culture phenomenon ruined by super-fans. The band was forced to play bigger and bigger venues to satisfy ticket demands, but the limited sound technology at the time made it impossible to hear each other over the screams.... But to see them live must have been a life changing event. With the digital age comes the ability to make these recordings a clear testament to the excitement of the music and just what them ....well... THEM... and you understand all over again what made the Beatles so important. After they came on the scene ... Nothing was ever the same. A great little time capsule.

PLAYED THE VINYL VERSION OF THIS MORE TIMES THAN I CAN COUNT...HAD TO BUY IT SEVERAL TIMES..SO GLAD THE CD IS FINALLY OUT ...!!!!!! THIS IS THE VERY big BIG BIG BEGINNING OF HOW IT WAS....WATCH THE FOOTAGE FROM THIS CONCERT.....OR ANY OF THE BEATLES CONCERTS....."MANIA" IS TACKED ONTO THIER NAME FOR A VERY EXCELLENT REASON.....EVERYONE HAD LITERALLY "FLIPPED THEIR OWN WIG" OVER THE GUYS.. PEOPLE WERE TRULY IN LOVE WITH THESE GUYS....AND FOR GOOD REASON....ALL THIER SONGS ARE CLASSICS....ESPECIALLY COMPARED TO WHAT HAVE COME OUT SINCE THEN......GLAD I LIVED WHEN I DID (BORN IN 1952).. PERFORMANCES BACK THEN WERE "REAL" ..ONLY THE TALENTED SUIRVIVED...LIKE THE BEATLES...STONES..YOU KNOW WHICH ONES,,,LIVE PERFORMANCES WERE THE "NORM"...NOT THE LIP -SINKING NONSENCE PRESENT NOW...THAT RAW TALENT OF SONGWRITING AND EXPERTLY PLAYING YOUR OWN SONGS IS ALMOST A LOST ART...BILLY JOEL SAIS IT BEST "THE BEATLES ARE WHY WE'RE ALL HERE" (I BELIEVE THE REFERENCE IS TO SUBSEQUENT BANDS TRYING TO IMITATE THEIR PROFICIENCY, EXCITEMENT, AND STAGE PRESENCE, BESIDES THE EXCELLENT SONGS WE ALL LOVE.... Never gets old!
I bought the vinyl LP back in 1977, but have not listened to it for about 30 years. I just remember hearing a lot of screaming. This CD removes most (but not of all) of the screaming, and lets you hear just how good The Beatles were live. You can really feel the energy of the concert, I can't even imagine what it must have been like to see them, but this CD brings me a little bit closer.

Back to the 60s
Giles Martin takes the Beatles where his father couldn't take them with newer technology. We can hear what fans in the actual audience never heard. Thanks to todays technological inventions in sound engineering we can finally hear what so many Beatles fan have been waiting to her for over 50 years, The Beatles in concert at the Hollywood Bowl. It was perfect in every way!
It was an awesome concert. And the screaming fans really brought it to life. That's because I was one of those teenage fans back in 1964! Love the Beatles and love the extras on this CD.

The fab four at their best. incredible recording and remaster. Puts you right there in the front with your arms on the stage and the teenage girls scream and faint all around you. only word describes this Beatles c.d. INCREDIBLE!!!!

The Beatles Live
I was able to see the movie so I wanted to buy the "soundtrack" on CD. I truly enjoyed hearing these classic Beatles songs again. It brought me back to the 60`s listening to the magic that was the Beatles. The sound quality was very good considering the screaming fans. They were able to digitally get rid of some of the screaming. This is a must buy for any Beatles fan.
