  • Fit fine and look great.

Not flat bakelite like real vintage ones, but that's not surprising. I had to work one of the set screws a bit to get deep enough for the slightly smaller 6mm shafts everyone uses now, but there was no problem and no stripping when tightened.

  • Fender quality

These are quality fender jazz bass knobs, and are identical to the ones on my USA five string jazz bass. These are not the cheap aftermarket knock offs, but the real deal. They work on smooth and split shaft pots, and are attached with an Allen fastener. You might save money with the cheaper ones, but they won't be the right ones. Stick with fender quality and get it right the first time.

  • Fender sometimes gets it right and this is one of those times.

Not much to say, these are knobs. But they are a good reproduction of the original and I've had 30+ years of experience with the old Fenders. I don't know what they are made of but they do look like the same material, they look like bakelite and not plastic. They also 'relic' (ugh!) very well, just dull them with a little micro mesh when you are restoring your old Jazz Bass, Jaguar or Mustang / Duo Sonic / Musicmaster / Bronco. Fender sometimes gets it right and this is one of those times.

  • Perfect!

I used these to replace the factory knobs on my EMG JX bass system. It looks like a factory installation now. Perfect fit, and easy to adjust!

  • They work!

I bought these when I upgraded the pots in my MIM jazz bass to obsidianwire pots (the stock knobs don’t work). The knobs went on and tightened just fine, quality is what you’d expect from Fender - awesome!I’m not sure why other reviewers had difficulty tightening the set screws - they’re a 5/32” if I remember right which is a pretty standard sized hex wrench.

  • Perfect fit on my Mexican Jazz Bass

I bought a used Mexican Fender fretless Jazz bass that came with some ugly aftermarket knobs. These genuine Fender knobs were a perfect fit and restored the bass to its classic look and feel.

  • Genuine Fender Bass control Knobs.

Excellent fit, aesthetically beautiful, and reasonably priced, however, alway make sure they're manufactured by Fender, and always check the shaft diameters before purchasing.

  • Fender Jazz Bass Knob Sets..

Great knobs - But I used the large ones & not the little one on my custom built 30 watt amp including the matching fender concentric knob set to have 5 knobs in 4 spaces = worked great. volume - master volume - treble - middle - bass. See picture.. PS: Dash is Maple wood veneer..

  • Does the job

The new buttons bring the look of the bass the way it should. The marks on the knobs let you know exactly where you are. I never cared for numbers except on amps. They were very easy to install, but it would be nice idmthey included the Allen wrench!
