Beautifully made
Hard to imagine anything better made than these. Way overkill for the very limited use they will see for my home shop use, but I've learned to hate the $2 snap ring pliers I have, and the Knipex description caught me in a weak moment and I splurged. I have some expensive “use only once” snap ring one of a kind $$ retainers on my 4WD Ford truck hubs to replace, so I was nervous. The Knipex will be kept polished along with the family silver, and buried with me.

These things are NOT, the removable tip, or reversible snap ring pliers that jam up or break the tips constantly. These are single purpose, either inside or outside, forged snap ring pliers. Each plier is designed specifically for one range of snap ring. Probably the very best snap ring pliers I've ever used. High quality engineering and manufacture.
