good momentary-on switch in a stout enclosure, with great usability - highest recommendation
TEMCo bills this switch as "Heavy Duty" and it is. The actual switch is well protected inside a strong cast aluminum enclosure. The pedal works well under an American size 14-9E shoe and the mechanism appears to be strong enough to last for years, although only time will tell. The application is a 1 HP belt-driven buffer for shop use, and this switch was chosen because it embodies the same "stronger than it maybe needs to be" design philosophy as the rest of the machine. Very satisfied with this purchase.

well built ,great price.. every w/w machine should have one for safe operation,,...it is easier to kick this switch with your shoe toe than to fumble around to find regular stop button supplied with most stationary w/w shop tools ;;all you need do is break the stop circuit..

it turns things on and off as described. it is of appropriate quality made primarily with metal parts. The electrics inside are of appropriate quality. I have used it for a month now and it has not failed. Furthermore, I do not expect it to; as it is of appropriate quality. If you are in need of a switch that you actuate by foot and have several dollars to spend, consider this option among others.

Better then pictures!
The foot switch arrived a day early. Is built very sturdy and has a normally open/normally closed set of contacts with a shared common. There’s also a gasket between the cover plate and main body.

using not as intended
I ordered this switch as a on/off switch for the trolling motor on a boat. Not exactly what it was manufactured for being used on a high amp 12vdc circuit but has worked so far. It is a lot easier to press than the trolling motor switch that was purchased just for that purpose.

I bought this hoping that it would power both my router and shop-vac at once. It does a fantastic job but some modifications had to be made so that all three 10 gauge wires will fit in the switch. It handles the current and that is what I wanted. The base is solid and does not move around on the floor. You won't be disappointed with this purchase.
