I probably am the only mom who doesn't absolutely love this carrier. I see so many moms using the Ergo baby carrier, that's why I thought I'd give it a try after my front carrier was killing my neck.
Pros: it is very comfortable on the neck and back. Also very easy to get on by yourself and easy to tighten the shoulder straps by yourself while it's on. Love the star pattern.
Cons: the other main reason I purchased this was to nurse in it while I chase after my 3 year old in public. The hood is fairly discreet, but I am not able to loosen the shoulder straps to nurse when the carrier is on. The fasteners to loosen it are in an awkward location way underneath your arms towards the back. So nursing is rather difficult because my son sits too high (he was only 5 months old when I purchased this, so I find it hard to believe he's too big to do this).
The other con is that the shoulder strap is always right at head and face level on my son, so it is always rubbing him, or he's constantly chewing on it. No matter how I adjust the back strap, this is where it hits on him, so it doesn't look very comfortable at all for him.
I'm really disappointed, because this carrier is made very well, and is comfortable for me. Just not my baby. I switched back to a carrier I already had. Thinking I should have ordered the Ergo360 so I could face him out also.
