I have successfully repaired two different models of Whirlpool dryers by ordering the same part number of belt twice recently. The models are LG6811XSN0 and LGR8648LW0. Both are direct fits. It took longer to receive the first one. The second one was shipped much faster.

The belt I received does not fit properly. It was too tight making it difficult to install. During operation it interfered with the tightener. Gave up on this one and went to the local appliance store and bought a genuine Whirlpool belt. It fits just right. It is thinner than this belt. It is colored coded so it is easy to tell which side is ribbed and which is the back. Cost $22.85 but a cheap belt that doesn't work isn't worth anything.

I read the other review regarding the parts number and for me I'd read the numbers on the belt and a search online and checked sears first because that's the repair vid I'd seen and when I attempted shopping cart the numbers were different but they mention there even that one was discontinued but the other is interchangeable this belt fits my kenmore belt measure 93 1/2? busted, 1 ad has 93 3/8 the #s though

Made a mistake by buying aftermarket belt to replace. Come to find out aftermarket belt was a tiny bit shorter than oem which pushed the pully back to have it rub against the motor and make loud noises. This belt is perfect size.
