good idea
Although a good idea, it lacks required connectors to use. I bought to access old hard drive IDE but the connector for the power to the hard drive is opposite what is needed, now I have to try and find adapter for my adapter to access hard drive. Specifically the four prong power to the drive needs to be female and they supply it with male plug. If this would have come with correct connector and works (I don't know yet if it works) this would probably be an awesome tool.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great Idea... BUT!
Note the orientation of your IDE HDD cable before you buy, because the data cable is in the way of the power cable for older IDE HDD's and we are unable to connect both cables at same time. basically useless on older HDD's, in my case it is a Western Digital Caviar 280.
