Very nice compact package. Downloads at a high rate. Only problem is PNY does not support it so I was unable to get free software or register it. The price makes that a moot point because if something happens I would just get a new one.

I reformatted to NTFS under Windows 10 with default cluster size, using USB 3.0 port. Write and read speeds did not approach the advertised max 400 MBps. I got 260 MBps write at the beginning using h2testw, but by the time the device filled up the speed was down to under 45 MBps. Read speed was about 170 MBps with h2testw, but since that program verifies the written data, that slows it down. Copy speed using copy utility was over 200 MBps read and write for a few files, but I didn't try to fill the whole device that way. It's a good product, but would need to be compared with the performance and cost of 512 GB thumb drives. Alternately it is possible to get a SATA SSD and use it with a USB 3 to SATA adapter.
