  • As described and expected thus far

I'm pleased with the apparent quality of the materials used in the pump's construction but I've only used it 12 or so times to set up a new shock and fork before the snow hit us, ending my riding season. (Fair weather rider here - I carry a loaded down backpack and walk during the winter months or trek down our frozen river later in the winter for exercise and to keep my legs in shape). The stroke of the pump is rather short (as are all of them I believe) requiring many pumps of the handle to achieve 150psi when beginning from 0psi or even 50psi. I was also reminded of previous reviewer's comments on the less than desirable position of fine tuning pressure release button almost immediately when using the pump the first couple of times. It's right at the bottom of the pressure gauge where one (I) naturally grab the pump with the supporting hand causing a release of immediately or within a few strokes as the pump moves in your hand. Reposition your hand, make it a habit and Whola! no more problem. Minor detail IMO. Long screw on metal fitting with a pivoting (approximately 10-12") hose that also clips to the pump handle when not in use are all nice features. The small outcropping you see on the handle at the opposite end of the pressure dial is definitely useful in ensuring a good hold of the handle is achieved. What I'm concerned about to a slight degree, and will keep an eye out for down the road, is the reported loss of pressure reading accuracy this pump has been known for. Probably the only way to combat this potential problem is to A.) really know the feel of your shock/fork pressure settings while riding or B.) having another High Pressure air gauge to double check your desired shock/fork pressure settings. Another minor, but more intrusive, problem to be on the lookout for. With only one bike in my household to maintain and no local riders (small town living) with air shock/forks, at $27.00 I thought it worth trying out for the little I'll use the pump unless I develop shock/fork air leaks - and then it's time for a rebuild I'd say.

  • Fits in small clearance valve locations

Good product, part received matches with picture and my expectations. I was looking for a pump that could fit in a tight clearance around the valve. Most of the other options (including the one I had) did not fit for my front shock.

  • Great pump for the $, this is a no brainer

Needed a suspension pump, this one is very functional for a great price. If you want digital it's about double the price, but not needed. Analog gauge has good enough resolution. Works great, only takes a couple of pumps to adjust pressure. Very reliable and compact.

  • Awesome shock pump

I have a cannondale lefty fork and this pump fits it perfectly! Unscrew the cap and screw on the fitting to the pump and it take about 10 pumps to get to 100psi so this pump works great. I would recommend anyone looking to buy a pump to get this one and buy from this seller. Shipping was very fast got it in about 4 days from purchase.

  • Loses pressure on disconnection, have to over fill to account for that.

Works fine, well made, easy to use. Only complaint is it lacks a separate pressure disconnect from the main hose disconnect. So when you remove it from the shock you lose air pressure. I wound up pumping to 225 to get 210 on release. Maybe not as big a deal with a lower pressure fork.

  • Quality product

Very impressed with the quality, look and feel for such a low price. Was skeptical at first because the price was a lot lower than expected. But once I received the pump, all concern was gone. Works flawlessly and has a very solid quality feel.

  • Solid, quality construction, good price

Solid, quality construction, good price, works well.....no need to say more. It looks like it'll hold up for many years of use.

  • Right tool for the job.

Makes quick work when you have the right tool for the job. Works great, easy to modulate the pressure to get exact psi needed.

  • Excellent for my shocks!

I bought this to service my Fournales Shocks on my Harley. Product was just what I needed! So do not look at this just for Mountain bikes, it has other applications with the right valves to fill them!

  • It works!

I'm new to mountain bikes. I found out I needed a low volume high pressure air pump to adjust my Rock show air shock. This being a Rock Shox pump I figured this is just what I needed. It is.
