EXCELLENT!!
We have owned the Flexi cord type leashes and we considered Flexi leashes to be the best leashes made. This leash is above and beyond what we expected. The tape is a great improvement over the cord and the neon yellow tape adds extra safety for our dogs and not to mention our safety. You can see the neon tape a long distance away. We don't get the tape wrapped up as much as the cords when we walk our two dogs. I would imagine the tape leash is much safer than the cord. The retraction of the tape is smooth. Mid sized long length retractible leash
This is particularly useful if you prefer a flat leash rather than a round cord. I like long ones so 26 feet is a real plus. But longer ones weigh more and are bulkier. They have minimized that by making the reel exposed on top and bottom, rather than fully enclosed. Also, the 55 lb limit sits between most lighter ones (generally 35 lb) and the sturdier ones (90 to 100+ lbs), making it more compact than the latter.
