Great USB Internet Adapter!
This adapter will help boost your download speed if needed. I had no problems with it whatsoever. If you want a great usb adapter that can allow a great connection, go for this one. My router is downstairs with my desktop upstairs. With the wireless connection going through walls, I have not experienced interruptions or interference. Wow! Took 2 minutes to install and my download speed went from 60-Mbps to 215-Mbps!!
My 6 year-old Dell laptop is still serving me well. I have no need to replace my laptop.... except the internal 2.4-Ghz wireless adapter could only give me 60-Mbps from our 300-Mbps service. For $16, I thought this was worth a try. It took about 2 minutes to install, It's essentially plug and play. I logged into my 5G network (instead of 2.4G) and voila!! I'm blazing along at 215-Mbps. Amazing! The only downside is that USB device has a wide profile and it blocks my 2nd USB 3.0 port, making it unavailable. Super fast at a great price
I have purchased two of these, one for a computer that is capable of USB 3.0 and the other for a computer that is equipped with USB 2.0. Even though the wireless router is on the opposite side of our home from where our office is, we still get lightening fast speeds with these WiFi adapters and our Xfinity internet. Small but essential gear

Long time to authenticate
