Excellent tool, wide range of economical dies available.
Used the tool for crimping 20 ga. ring and spade terminals. The Die is ok, and produced excellent single crimps on insulated terminals (red translucent mil-spec) but the better die for my purposes is a 300-104 which provides a proper crimp on the wire but also a strain relief crimp on the insulated portion of the wire. The tool frame itself is a good weight, easy to use and if you get into a jam has a ratchet release. I expect, based on a few uses and much experience with tools like this that it will serve me for a very long time and produce excellent wire terminations which I will never have to replace or repair. Used similar much more expensive tools. I'm satisfied with this one. Now...if they just made a left handed version...

A Well made Tool with sure action. Be sure to Tighten down the Jaw Knurled Screws! Also, after using on about ten crimps I had to loosen the Tension screw & Rotate one click to the Positve! Now I have good solid crimps every time.
