Shark Navagator Lift-Away hose replacement
This item worked fine and seemed as good as the original. The price was reasonable. My old one had a ripe in it most likely from a piece of drywall that got sucked in. Saw a video on line that helped me figure out how to remove the old one and the replacement was easy to install.

Standard Replacement, Fits Perfectly
This vacuum has a number of hoses on it, and they tend to tear or break with normal usage. It's just a natural fact of the plastic bending back and forth. The problem with this lower hose is that it moves more than any of the other hoses. With the other hoses, I just used duct tape to hold them together. It didn't look great, but it works fine, and it's cheaper than buying new hoses. With this lower hose, however, there is no way to tape it that still allows the brush head to remain in contact with the floor at all time. You have to replace it, but you will only need to do that if you use the machine at least weekly for two years. It will last that long under normal usage.

Shark Vacuum love/hate relationship
Replacement was a perfect fit and works as intended. However, this is not the first hose to break on this machine. Already had to replace the main handle and hose assembly, and it was kind of expensive. This vacuum is not really very old and should not have structural failures like this. That said, when the vacuum is fixed, it is quite powerful and effective. If they made it more durable, they would have a home run.

We had a broken hose on our Shark which goes to the rug beater bar and with it broken the vacuum does not work very well. We bought this part to replace the bad one and it was a very fair price and a quality part that should last for a long time.
