  • These strings feel and sound great!!!

These are great guitar strings!!! I've used Ernie Ball guitar strings ever since I started playing guitar over 45 years ago... These strings feel nice under my fingers... they have a noticeably brighter and more brilliant sound... They are similar to their stainless steel strings... but, are not as harsh on the fingers... I do use other brands of guitar strings... but, I always have a supply of Ernie Ball strings at the ready... I highly recommend these strings to anyone who hasn't tried them yet... I think they will be pleasantly surprised...

  • 47 years of Ernie Ball guitar strings...

There are a few "good" brands of electric guitar strings, and I have always chosen Ernie Ball as my goto set. They cost less, and last just as long as anything else that I have tried so that right there is enough for me. The new Cobalt, and Paradigm series strings are even better in my opinion, and it is the Paradigm that I use on my personal guitars now but for every guitar that I sell (several every month) it is always Cobalt series strings. I live on the Florida coast so anything made of metal is short lived especially guitar strings but the Cobalts do the trick, and last a couple of months for me.

  • Only the Best!

The cobalts are even better than the super slinkys that I used for more than 25 years. These ring like a bell on the strat, and smolder with the humbucker guitars. I use them on my p90 type too. I've found that using different gauge strings on the various guitars makes all the difference. Try them all and you'll be hooked.

  • What a difference!

These strings need no credability having already been used and endorsed by the likes of Eric Clapton and Steve Vai and many more guitar giants. I only recently tried these cobalts and will probably never go back to the standard nickel strings. The big difference you notice right away is the feel of the strings when pressed and played, almost giving the feel of having a scalloped neck. The strings have a sort of elasticity to them, making for easy bending. Just a great feel. The next difference you'll notice is the higher output they give, while in my case actually making each note more distinct and clear at higher gains. I play mostly rock and metal, but I recommend these all day long no matter what style you play. -Leslie Ripp

  • EB Cobalt Strings

Love these Cobalt strings. Good tone. Seems to last longer than other coated strings. This price for a 3 pack is great.

  • Quite interesting strings! They bend sup...

Quite interesting strings! They bend super easy with less pain, but you need to re-learn the feel. They sustain well and are very touch sensitive. I use them on my Tokai HLS VOS '59 Hibiki that I re-fretted with stainless frets and PLEK'd it. Did the same thing for my Ernie Ball Axis;) I would only use these on SS frets. The difference in tone is definitely noticeable. Kinda shrill and ice picky = LOUD on the Tokai, PERFECT on the Axis with a set of Bare Knuckles. New pups? No try these strings!

  • best strings I've used!

I'm hooked on these cobalt slinkys, have been since they first came out. They sound great ,a nice open and bright sound and this is compared to most of the top selling strings I have tried. And on top of that they are the longest lasting strings I've used. They feel real nice under your fingers too.

  • Soooo good!

These are hands down the best strings I've used in my 40+ years of playing guitar. Big sound - high output. Nice bell-like tone. If I've ever broken one of these strings, i don't remember it. Try them!

  • Great strings & affordable

Excellent guitar strings. They have that very distinct new string presence and once they stretch out a bit they stay in tune very well. Very flexible for doing bends, and have good sound when doing hammer-ons and pull-offs. I play mostly blues and softer rock & roll and these strings serve me well. I have tried many brands of strings and the Ernie Ball slinkies and D'addario XL's are the best strings for the money.

  • Cobalts...I love them!

I like the Paradigm line and agree that they are excellent and very durable, but I prefer the feel and sound of the Cobalts. It's probably all in my head but that is where it's supposed to be isn't it?
