You Really Need the Audyssey Calibration Mic with Onkyo, Denon and other AVRs
For anyone who owns an Onkyo AVR receiver, the Audyssey room calibration capability is a feature you really want to use - it makes a dramatic difference in how the system sounds (vs. not using Audessey calibration). To use this capability, you have to have a AUDYSSEY ACM1HB OMNIDIRECTIONAL CALIBRATION MICROPHONE that comes with the system. I recently bought a used Onkyo AVR that didn't have the calibration mic with it, so went back and ordered the mike through eBay.
