Great new brakes on an old Trek!

Tektro and Shimano mounting hole not matched!
I have a TREK 7200 cyclocross bike with Tektro V-brakes. I bought a Shimano Alivio BR-T4000 for replacement. Found out that Shimano V-Brakes (all models I have searched) has shallower hole step that doesn't seat fully. Returned it back and purchased this Tektro 857AL which is a perfect match!
