My first Montblanc 10cc leather wallet w/ coin pocket wore out after using it for more than 15 years. It was very durable, but got worse in the last two or three years as the inside lining got ripped and it became more of an eyesore every time I open it.
A few months ago, I started using another leather wallet with less features (fewer card slots, no coin pocket). The thought at the time was to simplify my life and why would I need all those cards? However, I had to go back to this 10cc model as I realized that I needed that insurance card for that unexpected emergency room visit or I forgot to get credit for that purchase on a customer loyalty program, etc. You just can't teach an old dog new tricks!
This is really the only wallet that could put in all my cc's, membership cards, insurance card, licenses etc. It even has a pocket for coins. In a world that should be cashless soon, it's amazing how keeping a few coins handy can really make life easy... like finally finding a parking spot, but need to feed an old street parking meter that takes only coins...
I'm just glad Montblanc still makes this model for this old dog....
