This is a very good set, much like I used to have. Only things that could make it better is a plastic pocket protector, and each tool being a different color so that it would make finding the correct one easier. The use of these tools is very important for adjusting coils chokes, trimmer capacitors, trimmer pots, etc. Where a conductive or metal tool will change the value of the adjustment just by the presence of the tool. The other reason to use such tools is that you will not be making yourself part of the electrical circuit (and get yourself hurt or killed). Also many of the low voltage projects sold here will require the use of these tools, so to adjust the frequency of the reference crystal in a counter, frequency of transmitters and receivers, and many other circuits that need a slight adjustment for best operation. The tools are made of hard plastic and work well. However, I wish there was a medium width blade that was a little thinner. On some of my radios, the trimmer capacitor adjustment slot is narrower than the thinnest bladed adjustment tool. I do have a trimmer capacitor adjustment tool that still works and I will continue to use it.

You must be careful not to upset the tuning coils when you are peaking your CB's because it could get the device out of adjustment if you do not have the right kind of non metal adjusters such as these trimmer tool set so you best use these non conductor set . don;t ever stick a screw driver into electronic radio's !!
