Has worked on my 98 Toyota Tacoma (standard). Works like a champ every time, I installed it in just two hours as their website helps a lot as well. The button is a little sticky but after a while it came off as the lint covered it. Overall great product would recommend.

I installed it and it did not work. I tried to contact the person I bought it from but, I haven't heard anything. I contacted technical support for bulldog and they were no help. I am a Master ASE certified technician so, I do know what I am doing. Soooo I have wasted my money and I am very unsure of ever buying anything here again!!!

This remote starter is as easy to install as it gets without a T-harness. Just remember as easy as it gets doesn't mean simple. For the non mechanically, and electrically inclined FORGET IT! You'll have to remove the parts that cover your steering column, and below. You will have to remove the covering around the ignition wires. Make taps to several while working under the dash below the steering wheel. All of the wires have voltage at some point during normal operation so they need to be insulated properly after you make a tap. Then there is the issue of tapping to the correct wire. If all this sounds like I'm trying to discourage you it's because I am. It's not a simple connect a few wires that are easily accessible. Pay somebody that does it for a living, or has installed one previously. OK, that's the bad news. The good news is it works great. Having a remote start makes the girlfriend much happier, and that alone makes it worth it. A side note on the installation. Depending on your vehicle, and options there is a bunch of ways the remote starter can be wired. You would be amazed at how many different ways a dozen or so wires can be connected. I can't over emphasize how easy it would be to get yourself in trouble connecting one of these devices. MS-AtlantaRead full review

While researching the possibility of even putting a remote start on a UTV i came across a forum discussion on the installation of RS82 into a 2019 Polaris Ranger. Im not a great follower of forums but this installation made sense so i ordered a RS82i. I only needed three of the wires and a power and a ground and the wires hooked into wiring harness at ignition switch. It works great. Only installed a week but it works as expected.
