A Great Addition for My Kindle Fire
I find that I use my tablet a lot more than I do my laptop, so I wanted a Bluetooth keyboard that's portable. Not only does this fit the bill, but the case is sturdy and well made. In fact, I'm writing my review on this keyboard and it's pretty sweet. The backlit is way boss and now I'll be able to type at night with no problem. An FYI: the apostrophe key requires the function + O key - in short there's a bit of a learning curve. Good enclosure & keyboard for 7" or 8" tablets
Excellent product for even a NextBook 8. Works for my android and windows nextbook tablets, which are slightly different shapes. That's the max size tablet for it. Tablet holder straps are super easy and just stretch to fit. Curious how well they hold up with long term wear, but seem solid. Keyboard is nice, pairs easily. Keys are small, but much better than touchscreen. Charges fast and charging light turns off when max charged. Leather is nice, magnet closure and keyboard hold is really good. Slight annoyance at getting into a good "laptop shape" to look at screen while typing on a desk, etc. But adjusting the keyboard out so it's still held by magnets does work to achieve this, just a little clunkily. I like it!
So I first have to comment that what I received was close, but not the same as pictured. The case is missing the loop for a pen, and the keyboard is a different design. The keyboard had a minor scuff on it but for this price I don't care. The keyboard works fine, the only thing is you have to adjust a bit when hitting the Spacebar as there is a small rubber bumper in front of it that protects your screen from the keys when the case is closed. I think it's an earlier model design? It also came in a plastic bag and not in manufacture packaging, which is mentioned in the item description. Very fine tablet add-on
I got this originally for my Blackberry Playbook; however, it can and will work on any 7-8 inch tablet with a Bluetooth connection. The thing is this: I wanted something functional, yet small and light to carry around and use for school. I did not want to cart something as bulky or heavy as my laptop when all I needed to do was to take notes in the classroom and write reports. Tablets are way down in price, costing less than netbooks and laptops; they are also smaller and lighter in size. Combining my tablet and this keyboard and I have something extremely convenient; add a free app like "Docs to Go" - which is Microsoft Word compatible - and I'm up and running. Great Quality Bluetooth Keyboard
I was so surprised by the quality of this little keyboard. I expected a flimsy product considering the price. This keyboard feels sturdy and has actual keys which is great since I'm not too crazy about membrane or onscreen keyboards. The case is very nice also. I absolutely love the rechargeable battery complete with charging cable. The keyboard paired with my tablet quickly and works great.
