Porter Cable has a long history with me. Especially their random orbit sanders. I have owned one of them for over 20 years, and until I lent it out, it was perfect. Now I replaced the old sander with this model, and needed an extra pad. I have seen cheaper pads out there and even tried one. Don't bother wasting your money. Just get the Porter Cable pad and be done with it. Lastly, stick with the stick on type pads too. They are cheaper and even last longer if you get a good brand of sandpaper.
