The only problem I've had is writing at 6x. I've used two different drives (one a brand new LG), but at 6x about half of the discs fail to complete the burn. 4x performances is flawless. If I set the software (I've tried 3 different programs) to Auto, or Maximum, I get 50% failures. Set to 4x they work fine.

Ok, you can get the 4X speed cheaper but believe you me these days they are simply rubbish, you will have more coasters than you know what to do with. The 6X best burn at a lower speed5X or under (what is the hurry) better to have a perfect burn every time and one that does not deteriorate after 4-5 years. Do it right first time every time.
