Good product, works as advertised
Although I ride a mountain bike I do not ride on rough trails, mostly paved or hard packed gravel/cinder rail trails or city greenways. This mount was easy to attach to the handlebars and holds the GPS device securely. I've purchased a number of RAM mounts for my gps units. The designs have been intelligent, overall, and the quality of the materials have been good. I have a RAM mount for the gps on both of my bikes, and my wife uses one on her bike; they work well. I have a bit of a problem with the models that use zip ties: the straps need to be pulled really tight or they let the unit slip on the handlebar. I was a bit worried about the simple tie-down system, yet when installed with the adhesive rubber pad on the handlebar and the unit installed just a bit looser to make final adjustments. The unit held the Garmin perfectly, easy access to on and off, and even a bit looser for adjustment it held very well.. Don't buy this mount
I needed to replace my Garmin provided mount since that was lost. The mount that I bought is garbage from this company, The handle connecting piece is held together with tie-wraps. Since the clamp does not hold tight enough the mount rotates on the handlebar. It is incredibly cheap plastic and it is just a waste of money!
