Well designed cab
Assembly required some time and patience: I would rate the instructions highly compared to the majority on the market, but it does require some adaptation depending on your model of snowblower. I was able to fasten the mounts just below the cable ties onto the steel bars. With moderate clamping pressure it holds well: the design is robust enough to do the job and maintain minimal weight gain, and if the cab gets push off alignment you should be able to loosen and align the tubes and re-tighten to get it back on track. It fits well on a ST424T and clears my garage door with an inch to spare and manages to clear my 6'2" height even with the auger elevated. Just ensure to prop it up to where you need it prior to tightening the bolts: I used a 2x4 to get it to the correct height for me and my garage door. It's nice not getting snow blasted in the face every-time the wind picks up and it has ample shoulder space even for broad shouldered folks like myself. It takes up a few more inches of width for those of you who are blowing in a tight space, so beware this cab adds width to the machine on each side.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Nice cab
This is a nice looking and hopefully a very functional cab. Just purchased and installed it on my snow thrower. easy to assemble and looks great. Wide body snow cab
Very well engineered for assembly. Unfortunately, the tremendous width (42") almost doubles the width of my 24' wide snowblower making it very difficult to get out to the driveway from where it is stored in front of, and in between the vehicles in garage. The snowblower also takes up a much larger storage space in the garage than it did previously. If the outside lower rails could somehow be adjusted inward at least 8' per side the cab would be much less cumbersome.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
