You better have large hands and strong wrists
This is a set of pliers for making small corrections, don't expect to use it for all yer brake pipe bending needs. I have large hands and can barely grip it enough to supply enough closing pressure whilst at the same time creating a bending moment. I have practiced on quite a few feet of 3/16 and 1/4 tubing and it is hard to not deform the tubing whilst making a bend. This is due to the small radius the pliers provide and the fact that it is hard to keep the pliers closed whilst bending. overall, yes I do think this is a worthwhile addition to working on brake lines and am happy i bought it, just keep in mind the limitations and don't believe the video floating around on the internet about these pliers :-)Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

tool is solid, great alt tool to other tubing bender, making the right angle bends requires a strong hand grip while bending the 1/4 tubing...3/16 thinner tube is ok...strong hand grip and wrist to make the custom bends...the first 90 degree bend is ok by the distance of the tube to bend...as you get closer to the end of the tube..get harder ...but works good thing I didn't buy the 5/16 bender...Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
