    Strong and quality built.

    This Wilton Vise is so much better than the cheaper, made in China, vises you see selling for around $40. There is no comparison in quality. The Wilton Vise have machined slides that makes for a tighter fit between mating parts. I purchased the cheaper vise and was not able to hold part tight enough to mill. I wound up getting the Milton Vise and been pleased with how sturdy it is when I use for milling.

    Tight vise

    There's is no slop in this vise as you will find in many others. This vise is awesome! I use it for holding gun parts while I drill and mill them. It is excellent for this. Would definitely recommend.

    Buy the largest one you can afford, You will not be sorry!

    What can you say about Vintage WILSON, that their products don't Show. I worked in a tool shop for over 37 years, and these Wilton vices are better than 99% of the Vises I used in/as a hands on Tool & Die Maker. the only way it could be better, is if I had bought the Larger/Largest New one they were selling, Honestly!

    Worth the money

    For the price paid the vise is very good and works well. The are a few rough edges on the slides and the adjusting screw is not smooth all the way across the length of travel, but it is all tolerable and suits my need on an old drill press.

    I picked the Wilton vice because it had the V-groove to hold round stock, the groove is so small, narrow its hard to align even a 5/8 rod in it, should be deeper, wider !
