I'm setting up my first reef tank in 8 years, it's a 135 +sump. I bought this membrane for a RO/DI station in the garage so I wouldn't be making water from the kitchen system. at first I was seeing 20PPM + output for several hours, High 80's rejection rate.. I was worried about how fast I was depleting my DI resin, buy the 2nd day I was seeing output in the low teens and in the mid 90's rejection rate. By the 3rd day I was seeing 98+% rejection rates. Woot! I estimate the aquarium volume at 150 gallons, it filled the tank and sump in 2.5 days. That's 60GPD output. Very pleased.

It acts as if it is previously used
I purchased this to replace the one that was in our under cabinet water purification system. I replaced the other three filter at the same time. Prior to the new installation my water was testing at 15 PPM. After new installation the water tests consistently for the past 3 weeks at 200 PPM. Ice cubes from the refrigerator are cloudy vs previously almost clear.
