For sound in model railroad locomotives these speaker kits have three excellent features: (1) Very small size, (2) the best sound quality I have heard in model sound, and (3) the kit includes a baffle kit that can be assemled several ways to fit most installations. I usually mount two of these in each sound loco wired in series. I usually have to turn "global volume" down to 50%-60%.
