  • Ergonomic but clunky

I wanted and are going to make wireless keyboard preferably with a touchpad. They get very expensive so this one came along and I like using a trackball instead of a mouse. However, the keyboard is rather heavy and awkward to use and the trackball being in the center closest to you makes it difficult to operate. The trackball is also very loose and difficult to control but you get used to it. Better if it had a touchpad. The size is a good small one and yet the keys are laid out nicely for those who like the split keyboard effect to minimize stress on your wrists. Overall I've decided to keep it and just get used to the trackball and awkward size. Wish it were a Slimmer profile somehow but it is quite workable.

  • Great idea. Poor design.

The keys are small and really close together. I have fairly small hands and it was difficult for me to type! The trackball placement is so low, it makes it difficult and awkward to use. The whole point is to be able to use the trackball while leaving your hands on the keyboard. This is a good idea that was poorly executed. There needed to be some usability tests done and some more revisions on the idea with better layouts.

  • wireless connection distance very very low. Usable only if you use it next to transmitter.

Shitties thing I bought for a long time. The ergonomic design was very good, so this could be the best multimedia keyboard for my mediacenter I had. But the fact that range for wireless connection was very low, made this keyboard useless. Keyboard started to stop responding on distanse under half meter. So what is the purpose of device like this. If it is purposed to work only on this low distances, why do not use wired connection? Devices for these purposes the most important feature is that wireless connection works without constant breakups.

  • I recommend this keyboard.

The first thing you notice is the weight, this is not a flimsy keyboard. The quality of construction is and feels great. I use this keyboard in a media center situation, it works very well. I especially like the fact that I can remove the trackball and clean the mechanism if needed.

  • All the bits

This is a great piece of very necessary equipment, however, when searching through the rather limited selection of ergonomic products one realises this is a basic keyboard at an inflated value - thousands of keyboards around with all sorts of other bells and whistles what surprises me most is the added gimmick features of all the keyboards. Why flat / straight keyboards are still permitted is beyond me as logically the split keyboard is a no-brainer -but why no back-lighting? Why no numeric keyboard to the left for the lefties? Almost there but so little thought and a track-ball that looks like a mosquito bite that's infected - was that really necessary to choose that color?

  • I’m still used to it, but I like it

I bought this to try to alleviate the pain in my wrists and thumbs. I also needed an all-in-one option. I like the heft of it. It feels solid. I switched and reprogrammed the keys to be more Mac-friendly, but I wish they had a native Mac key layout option.
