I love this pen.
I have owned several of these pens and I love them. They are much better than what Livescribe sells today. Unfortunately, one of the failures associated with the older Livescribe pens is the OLED which fades and then dies after a very short time. The display is impossible to fix or replace on the older models. This order came with the pen that had a bad OLED. But, I wasn't deterred. The pen is still usable.
