I have a tractor pull truck that would not pump fuel with a manual fuel pump on the engine. I wired in the mr gasket 95p fuel pump, drilled a hole in the bottom of the fuel tank and brazed in a 3/8" fitting, ran the new 3/8" tube to the inlet of a 10 micron filter then to the inlet of the pump which I have bolted to the inside of the frame under the truck cab so that it can have as much gravity Flow to the inlet as possible ( note this pump will not suck the fuel out of the top of the tank believe me I tried , you will need to put a fitting in the bottom of the fuel tank if you want to keep the stock tank, also you need at the least 3/8" steel tube with as few pieces of rubber hose connections as possible due to the serious drag it puts on the fuel flow, I fought tooth and nail to get this pump to keep up with the fuel usageof the carb. once I ran one full length of 3/8" steel tube instead of the original 5/16" that was in the truck and used a 10 micron filter on the inlet instead of the regular paper filter that was to restrictive. Now the carb Never goes dry and and BIG RED now runs like the beast it is. Thank you jegs and mr gasket for fixing my major problem. 1968 ford f250 4x4 manual trans. 460v8 (seriously cammed and modified) Holley 4 barrel 750cfm double pumper (completly overly modified not to Holley specs.), 44x18.5 x16.5 tires, frt. And rr. axles have 4.33 lockers in dana 60's, factory air conditioning, dump bed hydraulics under a factory pickup truck bed, 6" body lift, 6" frame lift (12" lift total)
