I don’t think these are genuine Motorcraft DG-508 parts.
I would not recommend these. I bought two of these to fix a engine misfire issue and I was shocked to find that the springs sit so far down inside the boots compared to the old used ones I had. When I opened the packaging up on these it showed that they were made in Mexico, so I’m unsure of what kind of quality standards are followed there. Anyway long story short I put these in my Ford Crown Victoria which is a 4.6 V-8 and the car ran even worse compared to the old used coils I had. At 40-50 mph the car would stumble on acceleration, at times would be hard to start, and would cause the vehicle to idle rough. Like I said above I’m not sure what quality standards are followed in Mexico, but these appear to be cheaply made almost as if there a counterfeit of the real genuine Motorcraft DG-508’s made in the US. I ended up buying some other coils from a different supplier and they seem to match more closely to the original ones I had in the vehicle. Below I have some picture showing what these new bad ones I have look like, compared to the old used ones. I also included the packaging from the new good coils I had to buy in place of these new bad ones. Clearly you can see on the packaging those were made in the US, but the packaging on the bad new ones showed made in Mexico. Just wanted to share this with everyone in hopes that you don’t make the same mistake I did. Unfortunately I’m passed the return window to be able to get my money back on these. And to confirm there bad I did a bunch of tests with both the used coils I had, to these new bad ones, to the new good ones I got and every time these were put in the vehicle it caused it to run bad. My spark plugs are all new and recently changed and gapped at proper spacing as well.

Motorcraft are still the best
