Hardwired...to Self-Destruct continues the epic thrash bombardment on the metalheads delivered by Metallica. The longest wait gap between two studio albums in the band's entire career. However, the wait is certainly worth it consider the quality of rhythm and riffs contain in every song. This album surely isn't diverse in its sound, from the apparent reality of Kirk been excluded from any songwriting on this particular album. Nevertheless, one of their best in the recent years.

Very well mixed album. Almost as good as the black album. Pretty close. Lot's of slam. Really enjoying this 2x cd set on my Akg k240 sextett mid production headphones. Final mix could of been a tad more open sounding. It has a lot of great songs. I'm sure some will be revered as classics in years to come. HIghly recommend especially at $10 for the cd, its a no brainer.
