So I read the reviews all praising the cameo inspired necklace so for a little less than $30 I figured why not. Considering the item is priced $179 originally but on sale for 25??? It's a steal right?? Wrong unless it's out of my pockets. It's not sterling silver like claimed. The person I gave it to has an allergy to cheap metals and if given jewelry it has to be at least real sterling silver or higher, be hypoallergenic or have an epoxy coating. Well... The person got a rash with it on. To top it off the item was worn ONCE and it the wording on the back rubbed off completely. The item is not blue it's a black (or extremely dark blue almost black hue). If it sounds too good to be true it probably is. As for me, while $30 (shipping and taxes included) is still too much for this piece from my experience. The mother and child image is still beautiful. I'm going to epoxy the backing so they can wear it with their higher quality necklace chains since they loved it due to it being a gift from me and want to wear their gift... If it was up to me definitely would return the item but their sentimental over it so I promised to coat it instead.Definitely doesn't look or feel expensive like some claimed on reviews. If you like costume jewelry that won't live up very long it's ok. But for quality look elsewhere. Super unfortunate.Read full review

I like the necklace very much, I will be giving it to my Granddaughter for becoming a mother for the first time. The only thing I did not like is the clasp is so small, so I took it to my Jewery store to have a lobster claw clasp put on it is now easy to put on, also the price is very nice.

The pendant/cameo design is beautiful but the quality is poor. There were 6 Swarovski crystals missing from around the edge of the pendant when I received the item. I can only imagine how many more crystals would fall off if it is worn regularly.
