Perfect motherboard for pfSense
excellent feature set, and if you disable the intel management stuff you can use the dedicated management ethernet port as a 2nd ethernet port - perfect for pfSense. I ended up not using the IO shield due to its half height action, but I took a picture with the IO shield installed anyways, but the case I'm using wasn't very conducive to the shield being used.
