I had known about the Pocket Ref for some time and had never bothered to buy one. Then recently it was referenced on a favorite television show and I was reminded that I probably should own one. I found a seller on eBay and purchased a couple of them, one for myself and one for a co-worker. When I showed them around at work, several other people had me order them for themselves or as gifts. I ended up ordering about 15 of them and still get requests for more every once in a while. This little book has to be the single handiest reference work ever published. With sections on everything from first aid to the tensile strengths of bolts to the maximum span of a truss to formulas for calculating almost anything, it would be hard to beat its value.

Thumbing through reveals much surprising information, that is unusual to find in one reference.
