This is a nice addition to my 47RE transmission pan. I did not use the plastic washer like other reviewers have mentioned. I used a rubber/metal AC compressor washer, seems to be holding the fluid in. The plug will make draining and changing the ATF+4 a whole lot easier in the future. At about $10, I recommend this part.

It's great to now have a drain plug on my vehicles ATF pan. I did replace the included white plastic (Delrin?) washer with a copper one just as a precaution.

The drain plug its self it of great quality but the supplied washer was not strong enough for the application. I replaced it for a washer with a rubber seal in the middle worked great no leaks
