It was exactly what I needed. My old one fell off the plug and cracked open. All I did was take it off of the 3 "prongs" and slip the new back in to connect. BE Careful when taking off from or putting on the prong side, some might be a little hard to take off so use like some needle nose pliers to be on the safe side.

My original one was heating up and tripping the GFI plug. Not much to say about this new one-it either works or not and it works fine-no heating up or tripping the GFI. I also liked that it was very easy to install-just 3 wires to connect.
