990 not as long as you might think. Go for model 912.
I actually rec'd the 990 (90cm) and it is just barely long enough for some situations... like a thick diameter light-pole and bike frame is about it. So I'd recommend the 912 (120cm) for adaptability to more situations and maybe cross-chest slinging. Heavy, of course - as expected, so not going to port it around much anyway. Easy to set custom combo numbers. Value ... hmm: Seems just a bit pricey unless on sale, but its true value will only tell over time if it is never busted or picked open in a theft.
