The listing says you may need a resistor/decoder for European cars or new cars. Ebay shows these bulbs to fit my vehicle. Yes it fits but it hyper flashes like crazy and my car is not European nor new, it is a 2008 GMC Envoy SLT. Try to find a metal place to install a resistor in a taillight assembly. Bottom line I'm not about to splice into my car's original wiring to install a resistor that is going to pull the same juice as an incandescent bulb just to have an LED turn signal. I would like to know for exactly what vehicle it is truly plug and play.
The red 3157 LED brake lights/parking lights of the same design worked perfectly.
I bought these led lights specifically to replace the front halogen turning signals on my 2008 Nissan Frontier. According to the description, unless if it is installed in a newer model or European car, it will not hyperflash and won't need a diode or resistor. Well, it does hyperflash (although brightly and with an intense amber color) in my 11 year old pick up truck, so, so much about what it promised. I could probably make it work with additional resistors wired to them, but I don't wanna deal with that. So, down to the bottom of a parts drawer they go... 🙄
