A little tough to get fitted on your ears.
The sound is great but the comfort isn't there. God help you if you take them off, very difficult to re position. They can do a better job here with these. The right a left sides you cannot even see the markings, the ear covering covers the side markers. Usually it is dark when you go to put them on and good luck finding what side goes on where. I walk my dog with these in the neighborhood and I try to avoid conversation since I have to remove these and then hope they go back on. It takes practice, but I guess I have not mastered the knack to get them on my ears real easy. Why can't we engineer a set of headphones that go on easy?Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Wireless ear hook
The sound quality is good, but the fit for the in-ear piece isn't comfortable. If it had different sized like the Boise sports plugs might be more comfortable, however not as bulky. they fit great sound awesome , problems - battery life. they will last about 2 hours tops on a full charge. also they need to be plugged in to charge every day other wise battery will die on you with in the first 10 minutes of use if head phone have not been charged in a few days even thought they have not been used. Sounds good but not excellent

Broke after second wear
I use the PowerBeats2 with my android phone. Maybe they are not geared for the Android, but the sound quality is often very low...crackling, static, and music stuttering. Even worse, the power button began to stick after the second time I wore them. After a few more times of wearing them, they would no longer turn on/off without a lot of effort. Now, even when they show as off, the power drains overnight before I can use them. So I am relegated to keeping them on the charger every night and taking them off right before I use them. Sound is Great
I would have given the Powerbeats 2 a 5 star rating but the music controls could stand to be a lot better. The controls for the music are on the push button system ... push the control once to pause ... twice to move forward to the next sound ... three times to go in reverse ... It's a very simple concept but for some reason your timing and how you hit the button control has to be spot on for it work properly. I've gotten the hang of it but there are times when it doesn't work as the manufacture states. Is it a huge deal breaker ... absolutely not but it's definitely a thing. Other than that the sound quality and the lightweight design are perfect for the gym or any other activity. Definitely worth the buy. I've owned 3 pair of wireless in the Plantronics BackBeat 903 before this purchase of Dr. Dre Powerbeats 2 and I noticed a much better sound quality with a very easy push button to answer incoming calls or just start listening to your audio. These headphone are very light weight and store easy in the carry case that comes with the headphones. The only issue I have is the ear hook can not be adjusted so they have a tendency fall out of my ear, also they don't have a standby mode to save battery life. Excellent bluetooth headphone option for virtually any scenario.
I use bluetooth headphones around 9 hours a day, every day at work. For many years I had a Sony set that I loved and worked well. They finally gave up the ghost and I started looking for a replacement. Sony no longer sold that model or anything I could find that was comparable. I purchased 4 or 5 pair over the next year and never found any I really liked. I found these when reading some reviews online and I just went for it. They are comfortable, light, have great range and the sound is reasonable given the size and type of headphones they are. I wear them at work now at around 50% max volume listening to music, podcasts, etc. and they work very well. I still have plenty of battery life at the end of a 9 hour day and charging them is simple with any USB port. I wear them jogging, mowing the lawn and working out- they are great for all these purposes. They give you the different size/style of ear pieces for a reason tho, try them all until you get the fit you like. If you need a set of wireless headphones that are simplistic and light for use when working out, etc. these are great. The one thing I miss about my last pair is volume control, but I'm getting used to controlling it with my device, and sacrificing some functionality on the headphones themselves for the sake of simplicity is a sacrifice I'm willing to make. Don't expect these to sound as good as the big, wired beats.. they do not. However they do sound good for the form factor and are a really good value overall. I can't speak to the durability of them yet, but the materials and construction give the impression they should last several years.
