Not exactly the same as OEM.
Starter works most times. Sometimes it will pull out without engaging the motor. You need to give it a pull a couple times to get it to work. The starter I pulled off had metal engagement tabs. The replacement is all plastic.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I tried to fit an electric starter to my fc401 v, bought the battery, bought the starter, wired everything up, and everything did work, except the flywheel does not have a ring gear for the starter to work .flywheels are not made anymore for the kawi fc401's, back to pulley starter, this worked and bolted right on, no problemo.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
