"Free Lifetime Maps & Traffic Is Nice"
There is no zip code lookup feature. Consequently, one has to start with the address. Starting with the address causes the system to search without success within the home state. The school zone feature is helpful; yet the speed limits do not match street signs. The speed limit beeping is nice when it alert's; sometimes it alerts when you pass the speed limit by a mile and other times it does not. Most GPS's are costing over $300.00. Great little gadget for the money!
A nice smaller size that's still easy to read. Volume is loud enough, and I love the fact that it dings just ahead of stretches of road where the speed limit is reduced. I'm still trying to figure out a few things on it (it seems to want exact spellings and doesn't intuitively guess about what you're trying to type), but it beats the heck out of using my phone and burning up my monthly units. I love the simplicity of Garmin. I have used many in car navigation systems and those Apps on my phone just do not get me there as easily as Garmin. The graphics are great. The screen size is awesome. The turn by turn directions are spot on. I have used other systems and they get you in the general vicinity, but Garmin never lets you down. It gets you there when others fail. If I want care free operation with no drama, my first and only choice is Garmin! I have used this product prior to purchasing. very easy set up and interface. I caught this at nicely discounted price,and free maps for life. I just got rid of my smartphone. the GPS is what i used most. so this was kind of lateral decision.It does not adhere to plastic, only glass.
