Good for the money. Not as sturdy as other, high end kits. $$$
I have not used this fryer yet but, it is similar to one my son bought. His cost $20 less but only had the 30qt pot, lid, thermometer, and burner stand. This one also has the 10qt pot and strainer baskets for both pots, skewers, & marinade injector. The additional pot and the two strainer baskets made it well worth the additional $20. Works well enough
The thickness of the pot and basket are suspect, but seem to work well enough - just require a little more care. The shallow pan and basket are similar. I have not used the propane burner that came with the set because I have one I like from my home brewing equipment. Still , this is a good buy for the price.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good for the money!
Works well and does what it is expected to do. Like all the other aluminum kits that I researched, this one came damaged slightly, but still usable. The lid was dented and bent up upon arrival when though there was not obvious damage to the box. The stand is sturdy, but the paint burned off where the flames came in contact with it, so probably have to repaint with high-temp paint (stove paint) and see if that holds up better. It’s an OK, product, it worked, the aluminum pots are very thin, the burner and hose is well built, the burner stand is also made of thin metal, fine for backyard use. When they package this, they put most of it in the big pot, and put the pot in the box subjecting it to damage in transit, my pot was dented.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Flimsy
The base/burner is fine. It is sturdy and well made. The rest of it, the pans, hangers, thermometer, etc. Is thin and flimsy looking. Set up was easy. Directions for use could be better. Picture on order shows red insulated handle on the 10qt. basket but did not receive in the box. Could be better
I bought this for turkey fryer for 104 dollars thinking it would be better than my dented current one but unfortunately its not. The ONLY steel parts are the screws and stand, all the pans are aluminum and dent just pulling them out of the box. Burner Problem
Never reached frying temperature of 13 lb turkey on 85 deg day. Tried two propane tanks at max flow on pressure regulator. Temperature of frying turkey maxed out at 310 deg F for 30 minutes. Cheap pots
Went to use this the first time and the smaller pot began to crack at the bottom. Creating a grease fire. Very dangerous. It’s a good thing I was prepared for something like this and was in an open area and had an extinguisher to put it out. Burner is ok but don’t use the cheap pots. Very disappointed
