I like the large screen and the many features. It provides all the information you should need to make knowledgeable decisions about your shot. Several distance options. It takes some practice to get used to using all the features. I'm very happy with the SX500. The wifi upload and download options provide a great deal of versatility.

Nice large screen -- easy to view even at a distance. BUT -- technologically a step back from the previous "Touch". It cannot autostart play. You are given a list of nearby course from which you select the one you want to play, and after 3 or 4 more steps you get to play the course you are already on.. Every other GPS has autostart -- too bad they could not get this part correct Other than that I would highly recommend this GPS.

This things pissing me off. My drives not going further than 205-207 yards. I still enjoy many of the program though. Seems accurate around greens but course changes not updated. Also maybe I don’t know why I can’t change club distances unless manually.

I received the device a few weeks ago and waited to write this review after using it a few times. I played a course that has GPS enabled carts and compared that distance with what the SkyCaddie had. There was some differences but only because the course carts measured to the flag stick. I noted the only difference was maybe a couple yards otherwise. This device keeps track of the score I made and will show the clubs I use and how far I hit them when I actually get more used to it. Overall I like it. It is a little pricey but it was my birthday. If you get one you will like it, I'm sure.
