Bought this cartridge after weeks of online research into a quality MM cartridge at a reasonable price. Had just acquired a new Akai BT500 turntable that came with an Audio Technica AT95E cartridge and I was not happy with the sound that this produced, just too sharp for my liking. Boy, what a difference the Nagaoka MP-110H cartridge made. Took me awhile to set it up correctly (clumsy old fingers-no fault of the cartridge) but it was worth the effort. Deep tight bass, clear highs and vocals that sounded like the singer was in the room. Very very happy with this fine cartridge and fully recommend.

The Nagaoka MP-110 is better than cartridges in the $300 - $400 price range. Very warm compare to more expensive Ortofon. My 55 year old ear can’t stand harsh highs. I have six turntables and I use this cartridge on my least expensive one in my bedroom to fall asleep to my classical collection. The Technics SL-1900 has no height adjustment but the MP-110 sounds exciting on it. I’ll be purchasing another one soon! PS: I’ve setting up turntables a very long time, so if you plan on purchasing one use YouTube setup videos to help. Happy Listening!

Since these can only be gotten from Japan, they don't normally show up as an option for Audiophile use, but google the reviews and watch videos on Youtube showing comparisons. Dollar for dollar these stack up as good as or better than many more common name cartridges. Will NOT disappoint. Combine it with an external phono preamp such as the Schiit-Mani and you're really in for a treat!!!

Been doing some research on this cartridge and I decided to get one for my turntable. Result is amazing. I love everything about it. Crisp, clear, punchy. And all for an amazing price.

This is one of the best mid-level cartridges on the market. It easily wins among audiophile cartridges in its price range. The cartridge + headshell combo tracks excellenty on my SL1200. With a recommended mounting distance of 49mm, I had to move forward 3mm. Bass is tight, mids are even and detailed, and while the top end is slightly rolled off, it retains its detail. This cartridge does reveal a hot recording...previously masked by my Ortofon 2m Red and Grado Green.
