Best Wifi for Large areas
I have struggled for years trying to find a Wireless Router or Repeater to get the signal thru my home and to reach my disabled moms home across the driveway. I have tried Nighthawk, Linksys, Netgear. Almost every router available at walmart stores. None of them would work the distance I needed. I couldnt see paying over $300 for the google whole home wifi kits or the Orbi's kits. Honestly just 1 of the Onhub's will provide you with coverage thru your home and then some. dont waste time on any other wifi router because if you purchase this one, you will be very please. EASY EASY setup and simple. Im not good at sq feet but I'd say this covers about 2,000 sq feet or a football field stretch. I just purchased this one to add to my existing Onhub to get the signal and speeds boosted at my moms home. Using it as a mesh network, the speeds have tripled at her house and signal strength improved by 50%. Easy set up
Easy set up for those technically challenged and on-line help available if needed. You will need a multi port ethernet switch if you have more than one device that needs to be plugged in. I have a Hue bridge and non-wireless desktop but the switches are inexpensive. It definitely extended the range and I think in a normal house it would be perfect but my set up has alot of obstructions and interference. I added a range extender to reach the furthest point and that did the trick for streaming on a TV in that corner.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I can say just one word about onhub - excellent. I have replaced my 2014 asus router on onhub and was really surprised how it's start working faster. I made a speedtest before/after and get twice speed increase. All adjustments took one minute!! it's very easy process. Just one thing - google wifi software is available onl for US market. Great router.
I have a large home so I used both this router and a airport extreme to grantee coverage and great speeds everywhere. Both are super fast and have long ranges though I couldnt say which is better (they are probably the same). However, I can certainly say that as long as you got an iPhone or Android phone, the Onhub router is certainly easier to initially set up and troubleshoot overall.
